vy exhaust susytem

hey, i want to get an exhaust sytem for my vy v6 commordore. i am looking at the red back 2 n half inch system. has anyone put that on their vy or knows if its any goood. i am thinking of going for the 1 muffler as it will be louder.

i got a 2 1/2" on my VY manual commo, with 1 muffler and straight through, sounds ok for a V6, doesnt drone at all, and yeah pretty happy with it over all.....

BTW mines a BERKLEE not a redback i also paid $280, which inlcuded the tips as well

I had a redback in my VY v6 auto, but it had 2 muffles. Gave it a nice note but not loud enough. No drone and sound nice in the car while giving it some.

By removing 1 of the mufflers it will increase sound, but i couldnt tell you if it would drone.

I paid $400 for mine just as a guide, 2.5" mandrel bent

you are better off with a sports resonator on a full VY V6 system. i couldnt believe how loud it was with just the Sports Muffler
