    Default wheel alignment/balance

    hey guys,
just got my car back from the mechanic yesterday, he tells me he rotated aligned and balanced my tyres. Just today i noticed that i have to hold the steering wheel pretty far right for the car to go straight! i never had to do this. if i put the steering wheel straight the car veers left very quickly! its so annoying, i understand the roads slopping to allow drainage but theirs no way i have to hold the wheel so far right to go straight, from what i can see it looks like the front left is turned slightly out whilst the other 3 are straight. Should i just take it back to him?
    thanks

No mate don't take your car back to him. Book yourself into the nearest Bob Jane or similar tyre professional and let them do it. They have the best tools and machines for the job.

You have a tyre problem. One of the rear tyres has issues if after they were put on the front it causes the car to pull left. Go to a tyre professional (and I use that term loosely) and get it checked out. An alignment will not fix it if it is the tyres causing it.

i had this same problem on my vy and yes it was a tyre problem for me, i had the tyres balanced, rotated and alignment done bout 3months ago, when i got it back my car pulled to the left a bit, it was getting worse, i put it on a hoist and noticed the l/h/f(which was orriginaly on l/h/r) was badly worn on the outer edge, i had another alignment done and balance bout 1.5-2 months ago and the same tyre place picked up(new alignment guy there this time) that my front alignment was ok, but the rear alignment was out and not picked up, causeing that tyre to scrub out over time leading to it pulling when put on the front. rotated it back to the rear and was ok again. get it checked at a tyre place like bob janes or a total tyres, etc. i watched while they did mine the second time.
