Default Door actuator

Hi all
My front passenger door actuator has died (been dead for sometime) and they've quoted $300 to fix it. Will I save any money if I did it myself or is it not worth the hassle?
If I'm to change it myself, how much will it cost for the unit and how hard is it to remove the door trim?

removing the door trim is rather easy i'm told. There should be a how-to here somewhere. Ask juzo if you can't find one.

Cheers mate
I did a how to and that's the section it's in, search and you shall find
As for the job itself, i ended up getting a mate to do mine but i can't remember how much the acuator was but it wasn't anywhere near that. The labour cost me a slab

Thanks juzo. It looks easy (or rather you made it look easy with step by step photo instructions)
I'll shop around for the actuator now. If anyone's has any suggestions where to get one cheap, please reply.
Thanks

No dramas
It is pretty straight forward so you should be fine. I would try bursons or somewhere like that, mine came from holden but i know the parts manager so i got mine for trade which helped
