    Cool Tinting Rear Lights....

    Hi all,

    Anybody knows where i can get my rear lights tinted in Brisbane!?

    Why? Illegal and looks stupid anyway. If you really must have it, just get a can of spray tint and then put clearcoat on the top (because the tint paint is matte)

    there is a can you buy call niteshades or something like that. That's what is used to tint the lights. I wouldn't do to many coats on a commo, no more than 2. I would just change the tails to either VZ SS lights or VZ Calais lights.

    The idea is to spray the Niteshades spray tint on the inside of the tail light lenses...

    hey guys my mate put some of that night shade on his car its hell **** ey it doesnt shine through properly and it looks funny at night not worth it

    Yeah, I had mixed results with it years ago with my old car.

    The tail lights turned out pretty good but then I decided to tint the front parkers. It made the light shining through go red - big cop magnet. I soon got new parker lenses after being pulled over a couple of times...

    Illegal and dangerous. Tinting reduces the visible light to vehicles travelling behind. Don't do it.

    Why dont you use stockings, i used them, and it looks tough as...plus if the cops pull you over all you have to do is cut/pull them off...works a treat bro...good luck
