Default 2.5 inch exhaust from a VX will it fit my VY?

I have come across a 2 month old 2.5inch exhaust that was fitted to a stock V6 VX for a good price.

How easly would it fit my S2 VY as i would like a larger exhaust but not have to pay though the nose for it and this one would be ideal if it would fit.

Any comments welcome

You will most likely (99% certainty) need to have the section of pipe just before the middle muffler lengthened by several inches.. I recently bought a catback for my VY which the seller claimed it would fit all VT-VY V6's.. I tried to fit it the day after and it wouldn't.. The middle muffler would hit up against the body and even then it still wasn't long enough.. If you can get that exhaust for a very good price then you might as well and just have the middle pipe section extended by an exhaust shop for very little money..

My VY is also a 2004 S2 Executive Sedan and I hate the stock twin cat setup.. I now have a VZ style catback and HM extractors sitting in my shed waiting to be installed.. I just need a pair of cat' converters..

HTH,

-Nick.

Thats the exact exhaust I originally purchased.. Where you see the flared end and 2 bolt flange, thats where it came up short on my VY2..
