    Default Boot Latch won't work

Ok I have searching for 3 days now on this site and think that its great so I decided to finally join.

I can't open my boot on my car. It makes the click noise but it won't open.

A fortnight ago I did take it to an auto electrician to get a new key remote and the reciever. But that shouldn't have anything to do with it. The button i the glove box doesn't even work. So, I have to pull down the middle seat and pull the cord there just to get into it.

Any ideas on what it could be?

    Muchly appreciated.

    Hi, Welcome to JC

It sounds like you have a faulty boot actuator.
Have a look at this thread

Also check the boot lock override switch.

Well I had a look myself and unscrewed the actual latch bit and the rod that lifts the bolt thing is broken at the end. Rang up holden and its going to cost $4.50 to get fixed. Glad its only something simple.
