Hi All

can a berlina/calais/statesman cluster fit straight into a ss ute??

do i need to change to a lux level BCM?

im going from a vt calais to a ute and ill realy miss the L/100km thing.

It will and you don't have to upgrade your bcm. I put one in my vy s1. Check what colour plug is on the back first, grey s1, blue s2. If you put a s2 cluster into a s1 car your fuel gauge will work back to front and you the digital display won't show milage properly (a s2 fuel sender is required to remedy this) or the other way round (s1 into s2). Your holden dealer can reprogramme the cluster to suit your car (tech 2) but can't change the milage after 100,000 k's. Companies like namiis (www.namiis.com.au) can reprogramme the milage of the new cluster to suit what is on your old cluster for about $130.

almost right, grey plug is VY blue is VZ
series 2 fuel senders are not all reversed, most utes are & only some sedans. very few wagons seem to be.
the configuration can be set with a tech 2
the odometer cannot be altered by the dealers if its over 100 km NOT 100,000

there are other places that can reset the odo as well...
