    Default VYSII V6 OBD1 or 2????

    Hi,
i need to know if my VY SII V6 ute runs with a OBD1 or OBD2 computer.
I'm setting up a hydrogen booster and have been told that engines with OBD2 don't like the HHO and compensate by dumping more fuel in. However with the OBD1 the computer 'learns' to deal with the extra Hydrogen & Oxygen and get a way better fuel efficiency.

I have been told that the VYSII V8 was installed with the OBD2 but haven't heard about the V6
    Cheers,

    Al.

Just build yourself a map sensor. Google it. It lets you control how much oxygen the car computer sees all you have to do is run it slightly lower than normal and you'll be fine.

I have done quite a bit of research on this and the amount of power needed to produce the Hydrogen outweighs the amount saved. You actually end up burning more fuel than if you had a normal set up.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car
