    Default VY Head light switch

Just removed the headlight switch in my VY today to see if i could locate the foglight wire, i managed to remove it completely, but now that it is reinstalled, it is really loose and can just be pulled out so easily.

    Anyone know how to fix?

I had my switch changed to the one with fog light pull out type. After it was fitted by a auto sparkie it was easy to pull back out again. After looking at it the clips looked ok so I just push extra hard on it & it finally clipped in tight.

I take it yours was the type with foglight pull out switch seeing as you were looking for a foglight wire ?

    Cheers

See my reply in thread; basically there is no fog light wire/harness as this was removed in Series II to reduce cost. To reseat switch properly, the switch has two side clips which you need push back into daskbd. Failing which you need to remove the instrument console, screws located quite easy.

    Pretty hard from memory.

Btw mine didn't have the foglight wiring either cause it's a base model but didnt take the auto sparkie long to run the wires & a relay to make them work off the foglight switch.

    Cheers
