Boot gas struts with aftermarket spoiler

Hey yall

I have an aftermarket HSV mock spoiler on my VY Exec, when the guys installed the kit they re-drilled holes to move the angle of the boot struts but still, if you bump it while it it open, the thing slams down very hard.

Where could I get replacement stronger struts? Would be awesome if they were just strong enough so that when I press the boot release it automatically pushes the boot up lid and open

The HSV's SS etc (anything fitted with a spoiler) were fitted with heavier duty struts.
Im not sure if VT ones are the same, but I have a brand new set to suit a Clubsport I was gonig to use to make the VK boot stay up, but have since found the correct spring.
