VY bumper

hey guys,
last night my bumper decided to kiss the corner of a narrow driveway and the left handside popped off.

i took the bumper off and there was no damage but when ive put it on it doesnt look like it sits right, it doesnt mould perfectly around the lights and at the joins there is about a 2mm gap that sticks out.

any advise on how to put these bumpers on without them looking halfassed?

there is a how to in the vz section, i wouldn't think it'd be much different to the vy. it could just be the clip that holds the bumper on.
