check oil display on dash

hi guys i have a problem with my VYII s. the dash keeps comming up with CHECK OIL and beeping at me, now i have checked the oil and it was about half way up on the mark so i have toped the oil up to where it should be but the damm check oil display keeps comming up and it is anoying the crap out of me.

i have looked everywhere and i cant for the life of me find any oil leaks.

could anyone help me

The sensor could be stuffed or does the light only come on when you chuck it around a corner really hard? I get the oil light when I corner suddenly and the oil splashes away from the sensor

i got that after mine was serviced at holden, apparently it was a glitch with the cluster software, i cleared the warning and i haven't had it since

no it just started a couple of days ago during regular driving to work i have only had the car for a few months and it is not due for a service for a couple more thousand kays so i havent had it in a dealer recently.

Wouldn't hurt to get the pressure checked...just to be sure

try resetting the dash. it might work, otherwise holden will charge around the 100 mark to do it

all fixed guys, it was the oil pressure switch, i changed it and no more Check oil on the dash and no more beeping.
