I just read through my manual for the ute to find what type of LSD diff oil i need.. and i found NOTHING! the guy at supercheap told me to get LS90 so i bought that, but before i put it in i thought i'd ask what you lads have put in yours.
I have worked out that the LS90 is a mineral based oil, but i don't know if it'll matter that much
the standard oil is a synthetic oil....its the main reason why it doesnt have to be changed at all during its standard service schedule...
HYPOID 85/140 - Penrite Oil
castrol saf-xa is another good one
http://www.pmlubricants.com.au/pm_home.htm- PM 108 gear oil.... is great stuff i use it in my diff and alot of friends standard lsd's... helps it stop open wheeling
thats just a few but theres plenty of fully synthetic stuff out there
Gee whiz, looks like i don't have to worry about changing it? I've just been changing all the fluids after it's been sitting for 6 months. looks like i get to skip this one. Thanks!
do not let the no-blow gas out after you change diff oil youll always blow the diff hehhehe
