Maybe you battery is dying or possibly your alternator? If it sounds like it is turning over properly just not firing, it could be either an electrical fault or a fuel supply fault. I would just stick a voltmeter over the battery while running to check if it's ok. It should read about 13.7. Good luck with it.

I would recommend Bendix CT brake pads. Very good for the money.

that won't give a correct indication of the battery status. I've had a car measuring 12.6 turned off and 14.2 running, and the battery still was dead. new battery and it starts like a dream.

I have also had this problem with my vy. sometimes would start straight away sometimes, would crank but not start. just put a new battery in and it has been perfect ever since. spend the money mate, go to battery world get a battery warranty too. or call marshall batteries they'll come to you. unless your car is blowing smoke this is really the only reason.

i had the exact same problem as this aswell, it got to the stage that it never started (crank but no fire). RAA said it might be the inhibitor switch, so i took it to my holden dealer (where i bought the car from) and three days later it ended up that my keys needed to be re-programed with the BCM, ever since that it has worked fine.
