Default Does VY2 Calais have self levelling suspension

Heard of VX Calais having self levelling on the rear but can't find any info about VY because I'm going lower.

I'm hoping the Calais doesn't, haven't taken delivery of the car yet so can't check it for myself because it's getting lowered straight away

I'm sure it was only the long wheelbase models that had it, certainly not standard on Calais.

its optional on the calais. If their is an airline running from the rear shocks then its got self leveling. You can disable it by diconnecting the pump.

Chances are thoe when you lower it you'll get new shocks anyway i'm guessing so it wont matter, just make sure you remove the pump.

auto levelling is only on statesman/caprices. gas shocks are optional on other models where there is a valve somewhere which allows you to raise the car by inflating the gas shocks when a heavy towing load weighs the rear of the car down.

exactly what it says, keeps that car constantly level, even with weight changes to the car.

    waste of time really.

shocks that use air pressure to raise or lower the car depending on the load in the boot/on the tow hitch. the Statesmans and Caprices that have it also have compressors installed to do it automatically when the car is loaded and unloaded
