Need your computer tuned, or dash calibrated??? Want your PS3 fixed, or wish to prevent the YLOD?
If i get in the car without putting the key in and turning on the ignition and then manually turn the radio on, if i then decide to start the car, i have to manually turn it off afterwards otherwise it will keep going even if i open the door. But once that is done it works fine as per normal.

The VZ I drove today did the same thing. Got out, shut the door and the radio stayed on until I opened and shut the door again.
its cause of that little i dunno what to call it when u close the door it pushes it in cousin had the same prob err i just sprayed rp7 in there works fine now
I picked up a new VY II S Pack on Monday and yesterday I had this problem.
I was playing with the stereo settings sometime in the day, later on when I tried to turn the car off, the stereo & lights (interior & exterior) wouldn't turn off. First time it happened I was in an undercover carpark so the lights were auto. This makes me think that this issue is more than just the stereo. I turned the car on, waited until the CD started playing, then turned it off and opened the door. Once or twice it worked the second time, the rest took more than a second go to turn it off properly.
I actually searched through this forum and found some people had this problem and suggested to reset their stereo. My manual shows that you turn off the stereo, then press & hold 4 & on buttons for 2 seconds. The stereo turns on with settings reset. This seems to have sorted my issue, I'll keep an eye on it though.
The VZ i was driving is an ex WA Police car so the auto headlight function and the interior lights are disabled. The stereo turned off the first couple of times but only stayed on once.
sounds like dickie drivers door pin switch, spray it with some rp7 or get a new one.
