fitting an in dash dvd

hi there
i want to install a 7" dvd/cd player instead of the standard unit. just not sure waht to do with the space that will be left below the new unit. beacuse the standard 1 is double the size.
just wondering if any body has installe one and any ideas on what to do with the hole.
any ideas would be great

either get the spacer which is like a console bit or go for the non fold out ones that take up that hole space.

yer i was thinkin bout that but i want it to fold for security plus they most of them are
5". do you know were i dould get the spacer from?

autobarne have em, think ya can spot a few on ebay if ya get lucky.

yer i couldnt find one on ebay but ill have a look at auto barn.

The surrounds are gay. The black plastic is a different colour and texture to the surroundings of the stereo area and it looks right out of place. Fill the whole gap.

yer thats what ill do i think.ive looked on ebay and you can get duel head units one is the screen and tv tuner the other is the dvd/cd player

most double dins are 7inch not 5 what have u been looken at

yer the double dins are 7 but the non slide out tipe are 5
