Automatic gear change

Hey guys my vy has done 159k's And what i have noticed of recent is that when i take off the gearbox seems to hold out when changing into 2nd gear Its only for about 1.5 seconds but still noticeable anybody have any ideas? It doesn't happen all the time but a fair bit Does it just need a service or some sort of adjustment?? The fluid level is fine. Thanks

i had simmilar in my vyss, at out 124k and then 148k(roughly) and it was a burnt out 1-2 shift solenoid, could try there with an auto service, took an auto place 2 trys to fix mine and that was after 1st and 2nd gears were recoed, luckily under used car warranty and the solenoid under parts warranty on there work

Well i've got 1 year left on my warranty going to have a look at the paper work and hope its covered

oh ok, cool is it holden warranty or like nation wide warranty?
if holden you will be ok, if nation wide then id be checking, as iv had a couple of problems with them not covering certain things and others only if you can prove that what they cover is it and not something else on that part.

Its through a car yard. So im going to check up on there's to see what they will cover under gearbox. Thanks for your help

Does your car have a transmission cooler?

They are good for keeping your tranny lasting longer. My vs did 250,000Ks. Nothing was replaced on it. Just regular servicing.

Should get one installed if you don't have it already.
