ok i got a vy lumina it has stock suspension my mate has FE2 springs sitting in his garage so im gonna borrow themhaha anyway if i was to do it myself the back is fairly easy from what ive been told but the front is hard so if i took it to a car place and said hey put these in how much would they charge me do u think. wether i did the back or not
fe2 are not that low, u should get ssl or even sl springs
if u live if melb i can lower the front and back for $150
yea like lighing said im in SA i just want the FE2's cause im not that fussed but still want it lowered even a little bit and it should handle better
also im pretty sure they are FE2 cause they came out of an Spak there yellow is that FE2 is there anyway to tell pleaseee i would like to know asap
mate fe2 will drop it a little bit but the difference is there stiffer than the stock. I dont think they are yellow my fe2s arent, unless there really dirty lol.
im geussin they probably are man, if there the stock out of an s pack im sure they would be. unless there like superlows or something cause i know there yellow
ohhh, yeah a little bit lower. idno enough about em mate but if they came off the vy s pack with sotck springs theyll be the fe2s
Ive got a set of kings springs SL front and SSL rears that i took out of my old VY that i dont need anymore and will sell if your interested, pm me. Only done about 6000kms.

they sound like kingsprings, my fe2 springs are black in my vyss, unless there is different fe2 springs, but i'm pritty sure all the fe2 suspension is black like the standard exec springs, correct me if i'm wrong though, but if kings they may sit the same or slightly lower than the fe2. which would be good either way.
on the subject of lowering would super lows all round be fine, or does everyone go with the ssl in the rear?
I went to pick a part and saw a car with back yellow springs, looked at the front and they were blackso I rubbed on them with my finger...and about an inch of brake dust/grease grim everything you could think og was on them, they were also yellow :|
Not sure if they were stock of not...
yeh super lows would be fine, i'm going kings superlows in mine, will sit bout 3 inches lower than standard from what iv been told, so bout an inch or so lower than fe2, can go ssl, but iv been told to keep in mind that being irs the wheels will sit on an angle and wear out the inner edges on the rear, where as sl will still sit low but should be ok as in won't need camber kit for added adjustment, or something like that anyway.
just went out and rubbed my my fe2's they are black. dad walks out and goes what the **** are you doing, i go im rubbing my springs what does it look like. twas funny
all good, yeh can get king spring sl for bout $110-$120 a pair depending who you talk to, so say $220-240 for the set front and rear, then shocks to go with what ever type you decide to choose, good luck.
you will wear your shocks out quicker if you don't change them...you CAN drive without changing them, but yeah they wont last very long
