Default Dodgy fuel? V6 supercharged VY

Hey guys, fuelled up last night and they had dodgy fuel either with water or sediment that is now blocking the fuel filter!

Never filling up from Ampol again!

Ok so who knows where the fuel filter is so I can check it to make sure it isn't sediment?

I have a feeling its at the rear near the fuel tank. I think i've seen one there before. Get under the back of the car and have a look around

It's above the right drive shaft in the cavity. New from Holden is about $14 and should be done every 6 months IMO. Just press on the clips and slide the fitting towards the filter at the same time and it will release, then slide back away.

Don't forget to remove the fuel pump relay in the drivers side engine bay and crank the car over until it doesn't fire first. This will release some fuel pressure from the system so you don't drink too much as the filter comes off

Its more likely to be crap from your own tank. Thats why you should never run your car under 1/4 of fuel, because you'll suck up crap from the bottom of your own tank and you'll make the fuel pump work harder as well.

Haha dude my Car doesn't get below 3/4....

It is most likely water, it's been poring down rain here chances are it's water that seeped into the servo's underground fuel tanks.
