04 vy alarm

Hi, just bought a 04 vy...unsure if it has alarm..everyone says should have standard but it wont go off..i tryed opening bonnet and waiting 5mins but nothing happened...HELP!!

Try unlocking your boot while the car is locked, wait 20-30 seconds then open the boot. This should set your alarm off. Maybe while it's deadlocked.

My VZ has an alarm but it doesn't get set off with the boot, the Doors and the Bonnet set it off, but not the boot . . . wtf?

dude u deff got one i asked this question awhile ago lock the car with the remote than use the key to unlock it lol be prepared also if u pop the boot lock it go in side do somethin and come back and open it it will go off key in the door deff works

just wind down a window, lock the car with one press on the button, wait 20seconds for the alarm to activate, pull the lock up and open the door

thanks heaps i found it by popping the boot leaving it for 10 mins and opening it
