vy LS1 trouble !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what to do and check

well my check engine light has been flashing on and off every now and then it will stay on then go off. it all started when i was reversing out of my driveway slowly and it just popped up. now most mornings it will idle pretty rough and felt like it was gunna stall this morning. when im slowing down nearly or complete stop then take off it kinds of chugs. when it warms up it seems to be alright no hassles but this is when the check engine light is coming on not when its a bout to stall. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

what to do ive takin it in under my warrenty but they said they cant find a fault? wtf i thought it logged it if the check engine comes on? what could it be i was thinkn o2 sensor,fuel or somthing gearbox related?


EDIT:::: i can smell fuel in my cabin wheni give it a bit also seems to have lost a lil power.

Sorry to hear mate, My vs calais V6 does the exact same thing The engine light comes and goes for no reason (and the car is running fine) Then sometimes when i pull up somewhere she hesitates like its gonna stall and no light comes on it also has not logged any codes either I have also replaced my fuel pump and filter and it has not made any difference, all i can suggest is to keep a check on the usuall things and check/clean all connections?

yeh my old vr calais used to do the same hesitate but no engine light sucks lol but now the bugs caught onto my vy sucks double lol

Im not sure on the LS1 motors but i have heard the ignition coils can be dodgy on th V6 motors , could possibly be similar on the LS1? worth checking for corrosion/loose connections ect?

my ls1 was doing this, was a throttle position sensor, did the exact same thing and my breather hose from the throttle body to the back of the engine and l/h side of motor was split, guys at holden said this is common, see how u go, hope this helps a bit.

fitted a new tps and breather hose and was spot on, never skipped a beat since.

the hose you can see, its from the right hand side of the throttle body area and runs over the inlet manifold, check over that hose for any cracks or splits. check your fuel lines too and injectors to make sure theres not an o'ring at the injectors leaking or a hose.

is fuel economy worse than normal?
