    Default Headlight problem

    Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone could shed some light on my headlight problem...

I have it always switched to auto (yes i'm that lazy i don't want to turn headlights on or off). Up until about 3 weeks ago when ever i locked the car the lights switch off.

They now no longer do that, i now have to unlock my car and then relock it for them to switch off. This is guarenteed to happen everytime.

    Thanks

When starting up your car goto the option menu (press up or down like the screen says to) and cycle through the options. I can't remember the exact name of the option, but it should say Headlight in it. Set that to 1 second. Not sure if that will fix it but that's the only thing i can think of off the top of my head.

Yeah, I'd give that a try Tim - even if you set another delay option - or turn it off altogether - and then re-enable it with your preference. It might be that the config has its knickers in a knot about something.

Failing that, I'd maybe look at taking it to Holden - it might need a reflash of the BCM.

Another thing to try is to disconnect the battery for half an hour or so - means everything has to go through a full "reboot" when you connect it back up - that can help clear oddball issues.

    Good luck with it!

You'll loose all your radio presets and and ECU will be reset (it'll have to 're-learn'). Not a big issue though.
