cruise control won't turn on

has anyone had a problem with the cruise control not turning on?

Have a look to see if you either have blown brake light bulbs, a blown fuse, or LED brake lights. The cruise control needs to see the 'earth' via the brake lights. If the bulbs are blown the cruise just wont turn / stay on. If you have LEDs you will need to fit 'load resistors' to the brake light circuit.

Thanks for the info, unfortunately all lights functioning and fuses intact. load resistors are fitted, it was working perfectly prior to going in for a service!!!
