I am considering getting 19" rims and looking at Petrol Bohemians. Will 8.5 width, fit on the front ok and not interfere with the guards ?
I'd like to get a staggerd 8.5 at front and 9 at back .. or even just 8.5 all round.
Not too sure about wheel widths and VY commodores. What size would it max out, width wise, and still be ok with Low spring .. 20 - 30mm lower than stock?
Basically I don't want to have to flare the guards if I can help it.
not sure if it helps but mine are 8 wide and they are perfectly fine.
ive got the sporty lowered FE2 Sports Suspension full setup as well, sits real low to the ground, i scrape pretty much every speedbump and the ride feels mad-tight.
but yeah, it doesnt scrub or anything and mines lowered.
Yeah thanks. I'm aware 8 inch will fit fine as most are 8" on commys. Its the 8.5 at front or 9 at back I was more interested in, but thanks.
8.5" 20's fit, depends on offset dude.
not sure how you will go with 9" rears, but all depending on offset and how low the car is.
Still learning the terms as I am a noob. Not sure what offset is, but I will only be lowering it to legal 100mm. So either 'low' king springs .. or an FE2 setup which I believe is not that low.
I got a manual from depo of transport today with all the legal reqs for wheels etc. I might just be going straight 18x8 all round .. but if I can I was thinking of 18x8.5 at the back. If they fit all the requirements
seems the offset for VY is about 46. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
