Default V2 Monaro factory diff ratio

I bought a V2 series 2 CV8 yesterday, it will be almost a week before I see it, as it is in Sydney and I am in Adelaide. I am wanting to know if anyone can tell me its factory diff ratio. I have a 3.73:1 and a 3.46:1 sitting in my shed and I am think I may change it but it could already have one of those.

Standard Monaros have 3.08:1 and CV8Rs came with 3.46:1. Holden gave the CV8R the shorter ratio and 10kw extra for a little more punch. I can cruise mine in 6th at 90k's turning a lazy 1250RPM.

Did you do a revs check to make sure it's not a Statutory Write off? By the looks of things it probably was a repairable write off. Ebay will become your new best friend. Good luck with it.

I am putting my 3.73:1 diff in it on wednesday or thursday.... Should go a bit better. Also it goes in for paint and proper front bar tuesday. Airbag system is already fitted and I have ordered a new plate..... CYA L8R ..... Mafless tune and an OTR CAI will be in the near future.

The car is currently registered... It was a finance repossesion. I have done a revs check and it has a clear title... I have done 3000k's in it and it does go alright... But I am putting the 3.73:1 diff in it this week.
