Power steering pump shudder

Hi All,

I have read of the defect with the hose for the PS pump and how this causes a shudder at lock.

As I do not trust Holden too much sometime, can one of my fellow members take a photo of what the hose should look like?

Something fishy is going on with mine however I want to be concrete with Holden as to their "responsibilities" to me in fixing the thing!

Hi, I'm also interested in some comments about VY steering shudder problems too. I've noticed a slight shudder when first turning the steering wheel when my car is stationary - no problems once the wheels are rolling though.

it is true they have a revised high pressure power steering hose (p/n 92174786) between the pump and steering gear. The new hose has extra length which is routed across the front of the engine were the old one is. this new hose elemanates the studder by increasing the flow of fluid to thee pump.
