    Default Wheels sticky on inside

I just chucked my vx gts 19's onto my lowered vy ss ute, and i could smell burning rubber after driving with them i s stopped and could feel the front left tyre was sticky on the inside wall from rubbing on something, should the 19's fit straight on? will i do damage driving 2 blocks to my tyre place?

Sounds like you need the gaurds rolled, I had to do it when I put 19s on my VZ.

Can you hear a scrapping noise?

but its on the inside of the tyres?? getting the gaurds rolled would help if it was the outside... take the wheel off and see if you can see any marks from the tyre on anything
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!

Ah, I didn't read it fully.. its too late..

Could be rubbing on the bottom of the shocks/springs...

Depends how low you've gone - i've gone ssl and i can happily fit my 19x8" rims with 245/35 rubber on em on the front and back without rubbing

turns out it might be a bent strut. i put 235 on the front as opposed to the 245 and its ok now, i still need the strut looked at but atleast i can drive it now
