Vy ii antenna arial

Hi Guys, wondering if anyone can help me. When i turn of my car the antenna comes down sometimes half way sometimes all the way then goes back up and radio turns on. Its a pain in the asse because i sometimes lock my car and go only to find my radio on when i return. Do i need a new antenna. Has anyone experienced this problem.

So your head unit is on when you come back to your car? Sounds like either your mode button on your steering wheel is broken somehow :S Or your On button can activate itself! Have you tried removing power from the car for 15 minutes to give it a reset (might work, fixed my CD issue)? It sounds more like the On button on your head unit is stuck on! It's definatly not the antenna's fault, it just does what the head unit tells it to do.

Just remove the negative wire on the vehicle's battery for 15 minutes.
