subframe and engine mounts

hi all,

im replacing the subframe and engine mounts on an '03 vy commodore v6 as the subframe has a crack and both mounts are worn badly. (ex cop car)

So i've dropped the sub frame out and taken the old engine mounts off. i bolted the new mounts on and went to bolt the subframe back in but the holes on the subframe don't line up with the engine mounts. one side will go in but then the other is out by about an inch.

i put the old mounts back on and the subframe lines up fine. (although the mounts are worn) i took the new mounts back to holden to check they were the right part and they say they are.

any ideas why the new mounts wont line up with the new subframe?

is it possible i have twisted something or bent something?

Doing mine at the moment and it's a B!@#%. the old mounts are shorter because there squashed and probly leaked fluid. pain of a job but gl
