Who has these and are they better then regular ones?
Also, whats he price like on them?
Yeah I have slotted rotors front and rear on my vy ss, mine are pbr and are larger than standard(they look about the same size as hsv) they also have bigger calipers as well. They work very well but this could have a lot to do with the size. As for the price I couldnt tell you off the top of my head as they were on it when i got it but it seems to be a package deal looking setup.

Have a word to Greg from GSL RallySport, he'll be able to point you in the right direction.
I put slotted / dimpled RDA rotors on the VY and was that impressed I have now put them on the VE.
Round figures ~$400 from my very vague memory although that was including front / rear pads and 1L brake fluid.
Dont get cross drilled, just get plain slotted if you're looking at upgrading the rotors.

iv got dba slotted on mine and rda's are bout the same, just the name really, bout 400ish should get you a full set of slotted rotors, you can use your factory pads, they'll be fine if you want to or a set of bendix general ct's ill be good too, a lot better braking than standard, will make a slight whine type noise when braking when hot, so if this happens don't be worried its normal. and a bottle or 2 of castrol dot3 brake fluid and give a good brake bleed and will be good.
I need to get new pads anyways so might aswell get the best.![]()
yeh you'll notice a nice improvement in them, good luck with it, i used bendix ultimate, but there too harsh for day to day, there more a track pad(don't heat up enough on the road for proper operating temp), bendix general ct's iv found to be a lot better day to day driving, good luck with it, you'll like them a lot better.
and give a nice brake bleed and will be awesome![]()
i put them all round on me VS with QFM pads i and it makes a HEAP of difference slooted compared to standard...allot of people reken it makes no difference....im like whatever ya reken.
The irony there being that Bendix Ultimate aren't anywhere near good enough for the track because they're top operating temperature isn't enough. So they've given us a pad that doesn't work well when cold, doesn't performance when hot, and has above average rotor wear. I fail to understand why anyone rates them...
Have a quick squiz here as I posted up earlier:
Slotted Rotors for a VY
If it's just a road car, then HPX will be more than enough.

Sick of paying too much for high performance brake pads? Want high performance and cold bite with low rotor wear?

i dont recommend bda and i have then and they need to be machined everying ,20 k, also be really carfull what type of pad you are purchasing as hard or soft pads could effect your roters life.
hard pads will cause bending on your rotors ,causing squeaking noise but they give you an excellent performance with lotsof break dust.
softer pads are good with no noise at all, less break dust.![]()
