HBD body kit?

Are there any HBD kits that came out on VY's?
Ive seen a few driving around and cant find it on the net...

They did make a kit (or it was just painting of the black bits on normal exec kits).

If they did, you would be hard pressed to actually find one. You might even find holden still have them, but they will cost shitloads.

mines a vy HBD have a look
basically an ss bodykit but the rear bumper is lil different have a look in my link VVVVV got towbar on but u can still see its different not the fins like the ss

In VT/X models, there were 3 different kits available, the SS kit was the 'big' kit, i found a wagon on carsales with what looks like the 'small' kit.

Just realised you have an SV8. The bodykit is stock on those

only the hbd came with bodykit most sv8's have nothing

I've never seen an SV8 without the SS kit. The only think the SS gets on it is the spotties, and i think a different spoiler.

The bars are the same!

It will say on your option plate what HBD fitted. And it wont say bodykit

lol are you for real ive seen about 7 sv8's around here and only mine and another one had ss kit rest didnt we both have HBD ones aswel look on this forum all of them dont have ss kits lol

I've just had a look and googles seems to agree with you.


I've seen about 6 or so VY SV8s here, all with SS fronts and no spotties, and none of the HBD. Must be all were smashed at some stage. Or is it a series 2 option maybe?


Same with VZ, SV6s i've seen have the same SS bar, yet the SV8 has a different bar. Must all be options, and just have had different ticks when new!

ok guys yeh sv8 normally has no kit and a spoiler but ive seen a few execs acclaims with different kit, tad more subtle then ss

I had a brochure on the VX model. I'll try and dig it out for ya! might help with distinguishing what kit is what!

HBD is now called HSVi btw (not sure if that means they were bought out, or just renamed)

Nothing to do with HSV in the slightest.

Personally i hate the name, and if i was HSV, would have tried to stop them using it!
