    Default Single 2.25 catback

I've asked the question before in the V6 development but no answer so I though I might ask here too. I have a stock ecotec V6 and wanted to do the exhaust but I don't want any drone at all. I've heard that the 2.5's drone at low rev, up to 2500rpm, and as I don't want my exhaust to be that loud, what would a single 2.25" with a hotdog in the rear sound like? Would I still get drone? Would it sound better? If anyone has one please post a vid.

    Thanks

    On a V6 a twin system would be a bit much. Isn't a twin 2.25? = single 3"?

i've got twin 2.5". asked for 2.25 and got that instead... still, it makes a bit of an annoying noise at about 1900-2000rpm. Apart from that it screams.

say you have a 2.5" single, you've got one 2.5" pipe for your exhaust. 2.5" twin is when you have two 2.5" pipes.

    Thanks for the kind words!

As for your exhaust, you will only have a single outlet on a single system. You can however go to supercheap/ebay or where ever else they sell them and buy a dual tip to go over it.
If you want a tip going out each side you'll have to either get a twin system or dummy up a pipe to go to the other side.
