just removed the seats in my vy ss ute, just to put a new amp in. wen i put the seats back in the "srs fault' warning comes up and beeps its tits off at me.
i checked the yellow plug underneath both seats were in properly but still getting the fault.
any ideas?
Hey mate,
As far as i know you will have to get it reset at holden, i took the seats out of
my VY and got the SRS fault and had to get it reset. Some sort of safety thing i think and will not matter if you have everything connected correctly.
Mate of mine works for holden so he reset it for me. Maybe someone else knows a way to get around it?![]()
when you do it your mean to have the battry disconnected it should work fine that way try disconnecting battry and leaving it for a 10mins than reconnect if that doesnt work do wat zacrach83 said
thanx guys, its getting serviced atm. if they dont pick it up ill try the battery.
thanx heaps
haha good idea, but i should prob avoid another run in with the bunbury holden staff
sounds like you either shorted something (ie didnt disconnect battery during install/removal) or u have side air bags and didnt disconnect battery, LOL
either way, TECH 2 will get rid of it, and you learnt your lesson!
holden ended up having to remove the fault warning 4 me, $77
