I need advice please!!! Looking to buy Vy supercharged.

Help please,
I am looking to up grade I have a Vr Calais and am looking to sell that and my piece of crap ute...(ford) and get a Supercharged Vy Calais any advice on the car, pro’s n con’s also any tendances they might have for things going wrong with them to would be appreciated... Thanks

Are you looking at factory supercharged or an after market set up?

Factory but am planning to do some of the easier mods like cold air, exhaust, and pulleys so I can hopefully keep up with my brother who just bought a Vy SS
(my dream car… PUNK!!)

i think petty wise it is cheaper to get an 8 i think thats what ive been told by my mate who used to have a VT supercharged but if u really want it only thing i dont like about my vy is the steering wheel shudder other than that awesome car to drive

if its round the 14-17k mark id advise u to get an sv8 only way your gunna keep up is to have the same engine you wont get anywhere near him in a super 6

nah its not that bad what happens is at really really slow speeds like say when reversing out of your driveway and turning the sterring wheel it shudders thats it nothin big but i get annoyed at everythin haha

I have a stock vz sv8 and getting 14.1 per 100 kms and its a 6 litre auto

I know a bloke who got a farkin good buy! VY Calais supercharged black on the outside black leather on the inside aka mint car inside and out, reasonably low Kays for $12500! But you wont see that every day! Just do some shopping around mate & dont rush in unless its a really really good deal that ya just cant pass up! Also while OT the super6 is a decent engine and with a few mods will happily see you beating stock ls1 cars but who has a stock ls1 for long

Haha yea true he has always had a 4x4 the only reason he bought it was because he needed a family car and for some reason I kept telling him how good they where I cant see him spending much…

because ppl think V8's cost more in petty sooo that means everyone is selling there V8 cheaper than needed to and i have no idea what that remote is for lol looks like its for the gps or the cd player
