I'd go 18"s on sl if you could get over your driveway. 19"s on lows wouldn't look quite as good imo.
i dont know what to get for my exec. im looking at cv8r rims, i pefer the look of the clones with the lines on the spokes. i would love to dump it on its ass on 19's but my mate did that to his vz and has horrible gaurd rub and i dont want to get my gaurd rolled. i also have a steep driveway. so what would be a better idea. 18's on super lows or 19's on lows. tnx

A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car
18's on sl looks good specially if u have no body kit. With the driveway, i used to go on a good angle, go slow and u should have no probs.

Hi mate, I run 19's on super lows..no issues at all.about to go to 20's
i'm sticking with 18's on super lows (once the suspension goes in) atm, may go 19's later but doubt it, what model is your mates?
pre vt will scrape, possibly vt-vx aswell, but i know vy onwards wont scrape with 19's and superlows as the hsv's have 19's and seen a few with super lows and no problems, saying that one of my mates has 20's on a vt with superlows and no problems.
mines similar to superlows and 19's and it's fine - no scrubbing at all
19s on SL with the gaurds rolled. I've never heard of an issue with rolled guards so I don't know why you don't want to get it done..

id just rather not roll the gaurds, if i sell it it will be with the original 16" berlina wheels and will be back on its original springs. plus gaurd rolling adds another 650 bux to the job.
18" ftw!!!

where i went they wanted 160 bux a gaurd, and they have a gaurentee that the paint wont be damaged and if it does get damaged they repair it. but still not rally interested in gaurd rolling
