    Default Supercharged exhaust options

    Hay all

My mates got a vy calis stock supercharged. He reckons the stock exhaust is restrictive. So wants to know good size piping and brands from extractors back for that model. I dont know alot bout commies so please give me some feedback for my mate.

    Thanks Kurt

If he wants to modify the car more later a twin 2 1/2 inch cat back would be good. If he just wants to cruise around in it then a twin 2 1/2 inch into single 3inch would sound good.

Stock LS1 cat backs (twin 2 1/4") fit onto the S/C 6 i believe and are popular amongst the S/C 6 guys i've been told. I think a twin 2 1/2" cat back would be overkill.

I have a stock LS1 Calais cat back and an aftermarket cat back that is 2 1/4" but less restrictive than the stock system and has a nice note. Let me know if ur interested... i'm in melbourne.

If he's serious about getting rid of restrictions, then he'll do the whole system.

The ls1 and l67 share the same cat back. VY SS got a revised design which is a slight improvement over the l67 system but before that they were the same cat backs.

Twin 2 1/2 is for a modded l67 and you're right it may be over kill...................if the car is stock
