Throttle body

Hi, iv been curious for a long time, are there any real gains for a N/A ecotec with a larger throttle body?
my mates got it done and claims there's no differnace, He's got a vyII V6 with full exhuast and CAI.
any opinons?

get a vernier and measure the opening behind the throttle body and compare it with the smallest bore of the throttle body

On a v6 I don't think you'd notice much difference. However if you get a twin TB manifold, you should notice some difference there.
