air bag warning

is there any one to reset the computer in a vy so that the SRS symbol turns off. i made the mistake of removing the front passanger seat and now im left with an annoying "BEEEEPPP" every time i start the car..

bugger, yeah only way around it is a tech 2 and clear the code.

remember in future disconnect the battery and leave it sit for 10mins at least before removing anything electrical. and make sure you reconnect everything before plugging the battery back in.

should only cost about $30-$50 to get them to clear the code, tell them to reset the ecu's parameteres while your there, that way it will be like a new car in terms of the learning charateristics of the ECU will be reset to factory, and you can teach it how it should react.
