Conn, dont know if would pass an epa test, based on that we have no idea how loud it is.
Bets thing to do is get a sound meter from dick smith and use it to test your car's noise output at the exhaust! As a general guide 90dBi and higher is usually illegal, varies slightly from state to state, so check your local EPA site for the exact level.
There are places that do dogy EPA tests though if you want too!![]()
