I did a search before asking but didn't find anything. Maybe I'm using incorrect terminology.
My WK has now done 59,000km. The digital display on the dash says service is due at 60,000km. Now, looking at the log book the previous owner once had the car serviced 5000km before it was due, now making service intervals at X5000 intervals instead of X0000. So my next service is due at 65,000km.
How can I set the digital display on the WK to warn me at 64,000km for the 65,000km service?
Youd need a tech 2 to change the service intervals. All you can really do without one is just turn off the alert, whcih then comes back at the next pre-defined service interval!
It's the holden service tool. Basically like a computer.
Take a look here:

If you were to buy one here in aus, i think last time i checked cost was about $8000!
Easy. Try this.
1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Hold down the trip computer UP and DOWN buttons together.
3. Turn the ignition ON while still holding down both buttons.
4. After approx 3 seconds, release both buttons.
5. The service menu appears and asks if you want to reset.
6. Press and hold the SET button for more than 3 secs.
7. Press the MODE button.
8. Turn ignition OFF.
All done. Enjoy![]()
He who hesitates shall hesitate last.
im getting the same thing you reackon i could just go to holden and they will change it
reset it for now and just do the next two services 2,500km early and it will line up again.
