Prob best to go a spring shock combo, cause if u just get springs the shocks will last about 6 months & you'll get a s**thouse ride.
My 2 cents would be kings springs low or super low & Monroe GT sport shocks.
Remember dont go too low or you'll have scrubbing issues.

2" all round on 19's should keep your car about 13cm from the ground with SS kit. depending on the kit of course...

Find yourself a custom shop and go tell them what you want. They should be able to sort you out.. all comes down to $$

Make sure you replace the shocks aswell as springs.. its expensive but you'll thank yourself in the long run.

    Have a squiz here:
KYB / Kings Commodore Lowering Packages!

Depending on how low you want to go you may need a camber kit, especially if you're running 19's...

If you plan on using this car on the street, you may want to double check the height allowance with your insurance company first. I had a bit of a run in with NRMA as they only allow something like 1.5".

Was given a quote from The Tyre Factory and they said $800 for King Springs plus Monroe Sports Shocks. Does this sound like a fair price?

The kit will def make it lower -

$800 seems like a pretty fair price - How much lower are these springs going to be than stock?

I wouldn't of thought the insurance company would need to know how much lower it is, I just told my insurance company it was above legal limit. As long as you can still get a pink slip they should insure it. or so i thought

Yes that is the price installed. I also called the place in Moorabin who gave me a quote of $990 so the $800 is looking pretty good. If i go with lows will i need a camber kit seeing as its on 19's? Or even with super lows will I?
