If the VT was a V6 then i would say the springs wouldn't be right for the heavier V8 engine in the VY. On top of that, the rear springs on a ute are different to a sedan spring. In my opinion, get yourself the right springs.

Im so confused - I dont know who to believe.. People on LS1 have said it will fit while others on here have said it wont!
I dont know what to do as I want the triple superlows bad and I think king springs lowest they make now are only 'ultras' which are double super lows, which I already have..

Mate if you want lower, then buy the king springs and get a suspension place to compress them. I did this on my old cars king springs (compressed about 10mm). They lose the yellow colour since they are heated though. Cost me about $100.

Google the King Spring website & check those numbers against their catalogue.

I believe they do fit. Also I was told the ultras are a replacement for the king sssl.

    Cheers

I called Kings springs direct and they said they will fit fine - the only 'problem' is they will sit about 10mm lower than they would on a VT sedan could be good or bad..will soon find out..but he said they will definately fit.

Mate they will fit no problems. the only difference will be a slight alteration in height. Fitting wise though there is no difference between the VT - VZ range.

Yeah I have no idea james, maybe they mean it wont work because of the heavier engine - who knows..but I believe the guys from king springs!

You say you have a pic of what height they will be in the ute??
