- VY2 SS
I've got a VY S2 SS - now done 30,000 km. Main issue is a low but distinctive transmission whine (it's an auto) - mainly kicking in between 80 - 100 km, which varies in noise depending on speed and revs. Can be heard more when engine is under light load or quiet acceleration, rather than when it's being hammered. Also sometimes kicks in from 20 - 60 km, again under a quiet and constant throttle but is much louder and pronounced (almost sounds like a dodgey power steering pump or something) - but this tends to come and go. Car had diff. replaced due to chatter - but this is different again and I'm sure comes from transmission. Would appreciate if anyone has any ideas on what may be going on...??!
