Oil in 5.7

what oil do you guys use in gen 3 LS1? Im due an oil change for the first time since i bought it and wanna get some good stuff into it

there's alot of threads on this, i used castrol edge 5w30 and have just switched to castrol edge 10w60 due to kays etc, but some guys say a 10w60 is better.

i did a search but could only find threads about what viscosisty to use, not a particular brand that is recomended

I use Royal Purple 10w-40 that seems to work good.

is penrite hpr 30 any good? its 20w 60 it says its for high temperatures.....
