calais or berlina lights into EXEC

Are calais/ berlina lights HID?

can they just plug in and work. I know I'll need to modify the front bumper. but electrically is it a plug and play scenario?

No calais/berlina lights are not HID. They have the projector lens however which, from my understanding, will make the HID conversion slightly more legal (not saying the conversion is legal). HID lights come with all sorts of fancy things to make sure that people won't get blinded like auto washers and perfect cut-offs, etc.

The swapping of exec lights to calais/berlina should just be a plug and play situation though providing the front bar is changed.

Keeping in mind that the exec HL have the teardrop parking lights (circular light in the middle of housing) & the Berlina/Calais HL dont have the parking light at this location.

do u need to fill them up? or is the light bigger/way smaller that it wont fit

As far as I know, the light is the same size but the calais/berlina ones don't have the teardrop.

Speedholes. Ba hah ha. Thanks for the info guys. yep well aware of the teardrop issue. glad it is plug and play situation.

Will fill holes on front bar and respray.

Just got to find some lights now.

eBay, Holmart or direct from holden are your bests bets. I'd go holmart as they're reasonably priced.
