D.I.Y. extractors on VY SS ????

Hey guy's
looking at puttin in s/steel extractors into my vy ss ute.
has anyone done this themselves??? just i know some model cars its not worth the hassel, just get a shop to do it.

I think the HM Headers site gives instructions on how to install their headers.

From memory, one goes in from the top, the other gets offered up from the bottom. Steering rack has to be dropped and dipstick tube removed.

All depends how long you've got to spend on it.

thanx, i would hope to do it over a weekend. my mate done his to a six and the only trouble he had was getting the rack to go back.

I did mine, hm headers, came with instructions that were easy to follow and really wasn't much trouble at all.
