With wire fibreglassed on to the back. It may have been your post that I read and got the idea, if so then thanks mate it really worked a treat.
Any of you guys want to do a photo walkthrough.
Looks good, I wouldn't mind giving it a go, as I don't want to be like everyone else and put a Chevy badge on it.
Extractors, 100cpi ballistic cats, Sureflo 3.5" medium exhaust, DUS OTR, Oztrack Tune, Phreddy dash, stereo, black windows, Lovell springs, and a good alarm
Can't do a photo walk through as I didn't take any pics as i was doing it. (Was hard enough getting time away from missus and baby to even do it! Promised not to do anything else to the car for a while!) I could write up how it's done though if you want.
Looks good mate. Well worth the effort.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car
Looks good.
Im making a new grille at the moment too. Ive taken a VY exec chev grille and a standard SS grille. unclipped the silver chev logo and bar, chopped the middle out of the SS grille and glued some screws to it, bolted it to the remnants of the chev grille. The resin is drying at the moment so its all clamped up.
The silver tape around the edge is so i can see what it looks like with a sliver edge.
Thanks guys, yeah it's a lot of effort for a little gain but satisfying and I love doing this sort of stuff.
