Default Will SSL's Ruin 19" tyres???

hey every1, i got a vy, i want to lower it(SL on Front...SSL on Back) but i was told that with 19s it will just chew through rubber once lowered. not sure if that is true.
    wot do u reckon?

    thanks in advance, Trent

Well, My uncle had a VY with SSL's all round, And had 19's, He didnt get the gaurds rolled, And didnt get a camber kit. And he had no problems at all.
And now i have a VY, Same model as his, And he said that i'd have no problems and should get about 35km-50km with some decent tyres and treating them nicely. :P
