Good to hear you finally got it. Have any pics of her? People WILL give you crap for the chev badges but it's your car so just block them out and either leave them or take them off based on what you think of them.

The line up you have for it sounds awesome though. However, I'd go for SL (f) + SSL (r) and get the maloo tailgate. I'd leave out the extractors and high flow cat too as for a V6 there isn't much bang for your buck at all without heavy future modification ie FI.

That's like my dream car that's affordable believe it or not. I've always wanted a VY SS ute in manual. Granted it's only the S, it still has all the pretty bits of the SS. You'll be guaranteed smiles every time you drive it

thanks mate it set me back 13 250 and dad gave me 500 im very happy with it.i would love something lik banks when i become a trademan in 3 yrs and 2 months to my p's anyway

what should i expect to pay to lower my ute
i was thinking sl in the front and ssl in the rear
pedders kings spring or lovells is there any difference in the brands?
do i need camber kit and shocks

Nice ute, expect to pay about $500 at the most, you may needcamber bolts, just see how your wheels sit after it lowered. Shocks prob not nessary but if it to bumpy for you get the new shocks. Check out my ride through the link on my page. I got sssl front and rear.

I'd be guessing around the $1000 mark to get it lowered. That would include springs, shocks and a camber kit. There's a company on the forums who specialise in this. Give them a berl. I think they're called GLS or GRS motorsport or something like that.

How long until your test? I've only got a month to go. So much planned for the car soon as I get my P's. Exhaust will probably be the first thing depending on what my insurance company says. I've got HID kits on the way, phreddies dash mods planned, calais lower front spoiler, etc. All are just waiting till I get my P's. They can't come fast enough.

Will kill myself if I fail.

i passed the test but i hav 2 do 6 months on log books i nearly had heart failure when they told me
im 17 in a month wont get my p's till jan it doesnt make sence to do 6 months goverment ppl r ****S

saw the vid on you tube, LOLed at the force of the exhaust knocking the camara down, exhaust wise i suggest a 2.5 inch catback exhaust, K&n Performance air filter and the two hold mod, i got this on mine and it sounds like a beast, if i hold the revs around the 30km/h mark i can set off car alarms at night, very nice,lol

i hav had my ls for a yr on july the 1 and you can just cheat the hrs
i think im coming to sydney to get the licence then come back to perth lol

haha.. i thought about going down to ACT to get my licence because you only needed to be 15, 9 months but you actually have to live there which sucks

The laws always change just when you don't want them too. Same deal happened to a mate of mine. They upped the hours from 50 to 120 the day before he got his L's.
